KAMTOUR Verified™ is a voluntary, private professional accreditation that recognizes hospitals, clinics, wellness centers, and healthcare-related service organizations meeting rigorous international standards of quality, safety, ethics, and transparency in cross-border healthcare. Unlike governmental licensing, which grants legal authority to operate, KAMTOUR Verified™ represents a higher level of trust and international excellence. It is designed to assure patients, providers, and global partners that KAMTOUR Verified™ institutions uphold ethical standards, professional integrity, and international competence in all aspects of their operations.
Purpose of KAMTOUR Verified™
The KAMTOUR Verified™ Program was established to:
- Promote trust, transparency, and accountability in international healthcare.
- Encourage ethical practices in medical tourism and patient communications.
- Provide a recognized, independent standard of quality for organizations serving foreign patients.
- Strengthen collaboration and mutual recognition between U.S. and Korean healthcare institutions.

Who Can Apply
KAMTOUR Verified™ is open to:
Hospitals (general, specialty, or university-affiliated)
Private medical, wellness, herbal, and aesthetic clinics
Wellness and rehabilitation centers
Diagnostic and imaging facilities
Medical travel support organizations and service partners
Suppliers, educational institutions, and facilitators supporting international patient care
All applicants must operate in compliance with the laws of their home jurisdiction and maintain a verifiable record of ethical operations, patient safety, and lawful business conduct.
KAMTOUR Verified™ Process
1. Application & Documentation
Submit a KAMTOUR Verified™ Application with evidence of licensing, insurance, staffing, and operational policies.
2. Preliminary Review
The KAMTOUR Verified™ Committee conducts an initial review for eligibility and completeness.
3. Evaluation & Verification
Qualified assessors conduct structured evaluations, which may include interviews, references, or on-site/virtual reviews.
4. KAMTOUR Verified™ Decision
The Committee independently determines eligibility based on verified compliance with KAMTOUR’s standards.
5. Award & Directory Listing
KAMTOUR Verified™ organizations receive the KAMTOUR Seal of KAMTOUR Verified™ and inclusion in the KAMTOUR Verified™ Directory.
6. Annual Renewal & Compliance Monitoring
KAMTOUR Verified™ is valid for one year, subject to renewal and continuing compliance.

Fee Structure and Disclosure
KAMTOUR is a U.S.-based private company. It charges tiered administrative fees for certification review, renewal, and directory inclusion. All fees are used exclusively for program operations and do not influence approval outcomes. KAMTOUR does not receive referral commissions or compensation from medical services or patient arrangements.
Advertising and Sponsorship Transparency
KAMTOUR may accept paid advertising and sponsorships from qualified organizations to support its educational and outreach initiatives. However, acceptance of advertising does not constitute endorsement. Advertisers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their claims, and all advertising is clearly identified under U.S. FTC and Korean Fair Advertising Act standards.

KAMTOUR is not a broker, facilitator, or travel agency under Korean or U.S. law. Certification is voluntary and non-governmental, not a substitute for regulatory licensing or MOHW registration.
