Welcome to KAMTOUR
A Physician-Led Advisory Firm for U.S.–Korea Institutional Healthcare Engagement
The Korea–America MedTour Association, Ltd. (“KAMTOUR”) is a private, U.S.-based platform supporting structured engagement between healthcare institutions in the United States and Korea.
KAMTOUR works directly with hospitals, academic medical centers, clinics, research organizations, and supporting healthcare organizations to facilitate institution-to-institution collaboration, cross-border strategy, and formal cooperation.
Why a Structured Environment Matters
Bilateral engagement between U.S. and Korean healthcare institutions is often constrained by differences in language, documentation standards, institutional presentation, and healthcare system structure. These differences make it harder for institutions to identify, evaluate, and engage appropriate counterparts.
KAMTOUR addresses these gaps by providing three primary services: institutional advisory and consulting, standardized institutional review and presentation through KAMTOUR Verified™, and structured symposia and institutional convenings.
What We Do
KAMTOUR provides three core services to institutional clients. Each is delivered directly to the institution and supports engagement in both directions — Korean institutions entering or expanding in the U.S. market, and U.S. institutions entering or expanding in the Korean market.
Institutional Advisory and Consulting
Market entry and expansion strategy, institutional positioning, evaluation of potential counterparts, cross-border engagement planning, and strategic communication for institutional collaboration. Engagements are scoped individually and may be one-time, project-based, or ongoing.
Platform Infrastructure: KAMTOUR Verified™
A standardized institutional identity and representation framework confirming authenticity, active operational status, and consistency between submitted and public-facing information. Verified institutions are presented within a comparable structure that supports clearer cross-border interpretation.
Symposia and Institutional Convenings
Professional symposia, structured delegations, institutional dialogue, and sponsored programming designed to bring Korean and U.S. organizations into direct, organized engagement.
What We Do Not
KAMTOUR is not a trade association, accrediting body, certification entity, or regulator. It is not patient-facing and does not refer patients, place patients with providers, or coordinate care. KAMTOUR does not act as an intermediary, broker, agent, or representative in institutional transactions, and does not negotiate, communicate, or contract on behalf of any participating organization. All institutional relationships and agreements occur directly between the participating organizations.
KAMTOUR Verified™ is limited to institutional identity and representation review. It does not evaluate clinical quality, safety, outcomes, or provider credentials, and does not constitute accreditation, certification, ranking, licensing, or endorsement.
Engaging With KAMTOUR
Institutions typically engage with KAMTOUR to:
Explore partnerships, research collaboration, or formal cooperation across the U.S.–Korea corridor
