Welcome to KAMTOUR
A Structured Environment for Bilateral Institutional Engagement Between U.S. and Korean Healthcare Organizations
The Korea–America MedTour Association, Ltd. (“KAMTOUR”) is a private, U.S.-based platform that supports structured engagement between healthcare institutions in the United States and Korea.
KAMTOUR works directly with hospitals, academic medical centers, clinics, research organizations, and supporting healthcare entities to facilitate institution-to-institution collaboration, cross-border strategy, and formal cooperation.
KAMTOUR is not a trade association, accrediting or certification body, or regulatory entity. It is not a patient-facing organization and does not refer patients, place patients with providers, or coordinate individual care.
All institutional relationships, transactions, and agreements occur directly between participating organizations. KAMTOUR does not act as an intermediary, broker, or representative in institutional transactions and does not represent institutions in negotiations, communications, or agreements, nor act on behalf of any participating organization.

Within this structured environment, institutions engaging KAMTOUR for consulting or seeking to participate in the broader KAMTOUR environment may begin with a structured institutional review process.
KAMTOUR Verified™ serves as a baseline identity and representation layer, confirming:
- Institutional authenticity
- Active operational status
- Consistency between submitted and public-facing information
This process enables institutions to be presented within a standardized and comparable framework, supporting clearer cross-border interpretation.
KAMTOUR Verified™ is limited to institutional identity and representation review and does not evaluate clinical quality, safety, outcomes, or provider credentials. It does not constitute accreditation, certification, ranking, licensing, or endorsement.
Verified organizations may elect optional visibility tiers (Gold and Platinum) under KAMTOUR’s Standards Manual and Application and Fee Structure. These tiers relate solely to visibility and presentation and do not affect verification determinations or standards.
Why a Structured Environment Matters
Bilateral institutional engagement between the United States and Korea is often constrained by differences in:
- Language and documentation standards
- Institutional presentation formats
- Healthcare system structure
These differences make it more difficult for institutions to identify, evaluate, and engage appropriate counterparts.
KAMTOUR addresses this by establishing a consistent informational and structural environment, enabling institutions to interact with greater clarity and confidence.
Engaging With KAMTOUR
Institutions seeking to operate within this structured environment typically engage with KAMTOUR to:
- Explore partnerships, research collaboration, or formal cooperation
- Enter or expand within the U.S. or Korean healthcare markets
- Participate in structured symposia and institutional convenings
- Engage KAMTOUR for institutional advisory and consulting services
