About Us

The Korea–America MedTour Association, Ltd. (“KAMTOUR”) is a private, U.S.-based platform providing a structured environment for bilateral institutional engagement between healthcare organizations in the United States and Korea.

KAMTOUR works directly with hospitals, academic medical centers, clinics, research organizations, and supporting healthcare organizations navigating cross-border engagement across the U.S.–Korea corridor in both directions.

Cross-border institutional engagement is often constrained by differences in language, healthcare system structure, documentation standards, and institutional presentation. These differences make it more difficult for institutions to identify, evaluate, and engage appropriate counterparts. KAMTOUR addresses this by combining institutional consulting with a standardized framework for how participating organizations are identified and presented.

Our Role

KAMTOUR operates across three connected functions that support bilateral institutional engagement:

Institutional Advisory and Consulting

KAMTOUR’s primary service. Engagements are conducted bilaterally with Korean institutions entering or expanding in the U.S. market, U.S. institutions entering or expanding in the Korean market, and institutions on either side seeking structured engagement with counterparts.

Platform Infrastructure: KAMTOUR Verified™

Administration of a standardized institutional identity and representation framework that enables consistent presentation of participating organizations and clearer cross-border interpretation.

Symposia and Institutional Convenings

Coordination of structured forums, meetings, and programs that support bilateral institutional dialogue and collaboration.

All services are provided directly to institutions as clients.

Position Within Healthcare Sector

KAMTOUR is not a trade association, accrediting body, certification entity, or regulator. It is not patient-facing and does not refer patients, place patients with providers, or coordinate care. KAMTOUR does not act as an intermediary, broker, agent, or representative in institutional transactions or agreements.

KAMTOUR does not evaluate clinical outcomes, services, or quality, and does not rank institutions. KAMTOUR Verified™ is limited to institutional identity and representation review and does not constitute accreditation, certification, ranking, licensing, or endorsement.

KAMTOUR provides a structured framework that supports independent institutional review and decision-making, alongside direct consulting services for institutions navigating bilateral U.S.–Korea engagement.
