KAMTOUR Verified™ is a voluntary, private professional designation administered by Korea-America MedTour Association, Ltd. (“KAMTOUR”), an independent, private, non-governmental U.S.-based organization. It is not a governmental approval, license, endorsement, or guarantee of clinical or service results.

KAMTOUR Verified™ signifies that an entity has demonstrated conformity with KAMTOUR’s independent standards of ethical, operational, and cultural excellence in cross-border healthcare. Verification by KAMTOUR confirms that the entity has provided documentation and demonstration of compliance with KAMTOUR’s internal verification standards, which are established, interpreted, and administered solely at the discretion of KAMTOUR and may change at any time.

Verification does not constitute:

Medical advice or clinical recommendation
Endorsement, approval, or referral
Judgment of clinical competency
Guarantee or warranty of safety, outcomes, or performance
Legal verification of licensure, accreditation, or regulatory standing

Entities displaying the KAMTOUR Verified™ seal are independently responsible for:

Their services and representations
All regulatory and professional compliance
Clinical and non-clinical decision-making
Quality of patient care and outcomes

Patients and clients are encouraged to:

Conduct independent due diligence
Verify clinical licensure and regulatory status
Consult appropriate licensed medical professionals
Consider risks, benefits, and treatment alternatives

KAMTOUR does not endorse, recommend, supervise, or direct any Provider, Facilitator, or Hospitality entity. Verification status reflects documentation reviewed at the time of assessment and may be revoked at KAMTOUR’s sole discretion if standards are not maintained or updated documentation is not provided.

DEFINITIONS

KAMTOUR Verified Healthcare Provider™
Means a healthcare provider or organization that is duly licensed and authorized to provide healthcare services by the legal and/or regulatory authority within the jurisdiction(s) in which it operates. Verification does not evaluate clinical skill or guarantee patient outcomes.

KAMTOUR Verified Healthcare Facilitator™
Means a person or organization that provides services related to soliciting, coordinating, or assisting international patients, including those defined under the Republic of Korea’s Act on Support for Overseas Expansion of Medical Services and Attraction of International Patients (2016), and/or any entity that provides similar facilitation services, whether formally licensed or not. KAMTOUR does not endorse, direct, or supervise facilitation activities.

KAMTOUR Verified Wellness Hospitality Partner™
Means a hotel, wellness center, lodging service, or similar hospitality provider that may support, host, or accommodate patients or clients in coordination with a Healthcare Provider or Facilitator. This designation does not imply that the entity is a partner of or to KAMTOUR. It solely indicates verification of documentation relevant to hospitality support standards for cross-border care settings.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

KAMTOUR shall not be liable for any claims, representations, omissions, acts, services, transactions, injuries, losses, or damages arising out of or related to any Verified entity. All decisions regarding care, travel, treatment, lodging, coordination, and service provider selection are the sole responsibility of the patient, client, or consumer.

Use of the website and use or acceptance of the KAMTOUR Verified™ seal in any manner indicates acknowledgement and acceptance of this Disclaimer and all other compliance and disclaimers.
